Wyatt J. Wells
Attorney Wyatt Wells graduated second in his class and Magna Cum Laude from Cooley Law School in April of 2024. He was the recipient of 9 Certificates of Merit (highest scorer in the class) and earned a place on the Dean’s List for every semester while he was enrolled. Wyatt served as the Executive Symposium Editor on the Cooley Law Review’s Board, and he also argued a complex, constitutional-law issue for Cooley’s National Moot Court team at the Chicago Bar Association’s 2022 National Moot Court Competition. He was later published after he wrote a scholarly article discussing the legal issue presented in that competition.
Prior to attending law school, Wyatt earned a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and a master’s in public health with a concentration on epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of South Florida. His experience working for the Michigan Public Health Institution during the Covid-19 pandemic created a strong sense of community and responsibility that has motivated him to meaningfully connect with clients to address their legal issues.
Outside of work, Wyatt enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family. He currently lives in Byron Center with his long-term partner, Kismet.
